What is ELEVATE? AANHPI?

Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander Grant

  • CSUEB API Support Services was awarded funding to support Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander engagement and leadership initiatives for the 2024–2025 acaemic year
  • Intentional cross-collaboration between APISSC, PIAA, and SLIC
  • ELEVATE is the theme across the APISSC, PIAA, and SLIC’s programming which is sponsored by a portion of AANHPI Grant funds.
  • Funding through the grant allowed us to hire additional students to support APISSC, PIAA, SLIC, and the events made possible because of the grant.
  • ELEVATE at Cal State East Bay also has additional collaboration with the national AANHPI ‘Ohana Center of Excellence to provide CSUEB students with resources and workshops/discussions around destigmatizing mental health support for AANHPI students.
